Operation Flashpoint Patch, DLC Could Hit This Month

by Jeff Cork on Oct 22, 2009 at 05:53 AM

Players who have been battling network connections as much as their enemies in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising have good news ahead, according to Codemasters. In an interview with Eurogamer, the game’s executive producer Sion Lenton says that a forthcoming patch will be addressing those issues and will make the game “flow a little better.”

Additionally, the update is planned to come out around the same time as the game’s first DLC pack, the content of which he says is still up for discussion. Placing some responsibility on the game’s community, Lenton says of such DLC that "It's quite open-ended," he added, "it's not a lot of fuss for us to make new content - it's actually quite easy for us to get it out there, with regards to things like levels, game modes, etc." When can we expect to see these downloads? Lenton says “Two to four weeks of release, tops.”
