Halo Waypoint Explained, Dated

by Jeff Marchiafava on Oct 19, 2009 at 10:34 AM

Starting November 5th, Halo fans will have a new place to get their daily fix of Halo-related content, thanks to a new information hub developed by 343 Industries. The new service, appropriately titled Halo Waypoint, will give players daily updates on upcoming Halo games, including trailers, screenshots, interviews and more. It will also provide career stat tracking across multiple Halo games, and provide new challenges for gamers to tackle.

At launch, Halo Waypoint will track your achievements across three games: Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Wars.  The service will also debut a preview of the upcoming anime series “Halo Legends” starting November 7th. For more information, check out this video demo narrated by the project’s creative director, Jason Pace.
