Balloon Boy Game Already On The Web

by Annette Gonzalez on Oct 17, 2009 at 12:08 PM

Boy that was fast. A browser-based game has already hit the Internet based on the “Balloon Boy” events that occurred in Colorado earlier this week.

Six-year-old Falcon Heene, who was thought to be adrift in an experimental helium balloon was actually hiding in his attic. News of the boy in the balloon led to a frantic chase by authorities. According to GamePolitics.com a game inspired by the events was created by three 25-year-olds: Immad Akhund, Jude Gomila and James Smith. A counter at the top of the Web site asks “How Many $$$ of Tax Payer Money Can You Waste?” Players gather rainbows and dodge seagulls for points.

Too soon?
