This New Borderlands Commercial Will Blow Your Mind

When you're looking forward to a video game, the week before its release is typically the worst. You've read all the information that’s been written about it and you've looked at all the gorgeous movies and screenshots that have been made public. Maybe you’ve already planned which character you’re going to be, and what special abilities you want to use. The only thing that’s left to do is wait… for five more days.

If that’s the situation you find yourself in while waiting for the upcoming release of Borderlands, I feel your pain. And I also come bearing a gift: a commercial showing the game in action. Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t consider a commercial much of a gift, but this one manages to sum up everything Dan and I loved about the game when we played it for this hands on preview. Hopefully it will tide you over until October 20th – along with this reassuring statement based on my time with the game so far: it’s worth the wait.
