Dragon Age: Origins Launch Trailer – 0% Gameplay
Another day, another trailer for BioWare’s upcoming RPG Dragon Age: Origins. This time, you’ll be treated to a cinematic action-packed battle atop a frozen mountain. A dragon, some darkspawn, and the party of heroes throw down with a variety of attacks to create an exciting battle that will get your adrenaline pumping.
The only problem with the trailer – which is undoubtedly awesome – is that fact that it doesn’t represent what players will see in Dragon Age. The game is supposedly a return to form for BioWare, harkening back to the classic series Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights. Those games were mainly about tactical combat; if you go into Dragon Age expecting your characters to do lots of backflips while dispatching dragons with a single sword slice/lightning bolt combo, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
Regardless, you should watch the video. Representative or not, it’s totally sweet:
