ModNation Racers Online Beta Seen In Action

According to the ModNation Racers Web site, the PlayStation 3 exclusive is preparing an online beta that will open to the public December 2009. Destructoid reports the Track Studio feature that allows you to create your own racetrack may be usable in beta as evidenced by PlayStation Network users seen online using the beta.

The beta has not leaked to the public. The individuals currently using the beta are Sony employees so the rest of us will have to wait, though not much longer.

ModNation Racers will allow players to personalize the kart racer using the same tools used by the development team to custom Mod characters, karts and tracks to share online. The online beta vouchers are currently packaged with LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition. Interested mod racers can go to the ModNation site and register for beta updates.
