Iggy Pop Snaps On to LEGO Rock Band
Who would you say is the one music superstar whose a natural fit for LEGO Rock Band? How about 62-year-old punk rocker, Iggy Pop? The Iguana himself is going to appear in all his plastic glory in Warner Bros. Interactive’s upcoming family-friendly music game.
The former Stooges frontman will not only appear as a playable character in the game, but his iconic voice will also lead players through the tutorial. After gamers learn how to control their plastic avatars with their plastic instruments, they can brick 'n' roll to Iggy's "The Passenger."
Harmonix's press release also boasts that LEGO Rock Band is great for "tweens, teens, families and gamers of all ages." We're not sure about anyone else, but we had to keep our epic scale LEGO battles on the down low during our tweenage years. The cool kids who listened to Iggy Pop would've beat us up if they knew.
