Each editor is only allowed time for a quick statement and then must give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down to determine what games take away the top honors for this initial impression frenzy. The verdict is decided by a two-thirds or unanimous vote.
Note that all the editors involved didn't get a chance to touch any of these games and are basing their instant analysis on streamed presentations, trailers, and demo footage, so this is far from a critical analysis - just a fun rundown of some of E3's biggest beats!
