Blog Herding – The Best Blogs Of The Community (December 22, 2016)
We've got a short Blog Herding this week due to the holiday weekend creeping up on us. But short and sweet is how I'd describe it. We'll be taking next week off, but will be back with a mega edition of Blog Herding the following week!
Community Blogs For December 15 – December 21:

Lost or Abandoned Nintendo Franchises (Part 3 of 3)
Another week, another addition to this Nintendo feature from
RezidentHazard (Skeptical Inquirer). There are a lot of games on this list that
make sense, but Eternal Darkness is one that stings. What a great game; I've
never been more freaked out while playing a game.
The
Worst Games to Procrastinate With
Procrastination is a thing many people deal with, so when Haley Shipley talks
about games that help you do just that, it's sure to bring up some memories. I
mean, who hasn't caught just one more Pokémon before getting to that term
paper?
How
my Chaos of Emotions Led to High Chaos in Dunwall
Refle decided to go nuts on his second playthrough of Dishonored...but the blog about that
quickly takes a more personal turn. And that takes our player back to
Dishonored in a much more intense route than he ever imagined.
My
Top 10 Games of 2016
2016 was an interesting year for a lot of reasons, but General Mills44 is
here to focus on just the video games of the year. It's a good list, but one
with a couple of surprises – and a game I had never even heard about before.
One
Year: It has been a good one.
Brendon Curzio celebrates one year as a Game Informer blogger. How time
flies! He had a tough year when he began blogging, but he found a new path for
himself. He found a community. I vividly remember our blogger's month of Dark
Souls posts, and I'm happy – and I'm guessing the community as a whole – that
you're with us!
Ranking
Every Pre-2016 Game I Played This Year
Attackcorbra writes an exhaustive list about games of yesteryear he finally
got to this year. Shamefully, nearly every game on there is one I have yet to
start, or one I need to finish. But my it is a good list.
Community Writing Challenge:
The same as last week – but now you have two more weeks to write it!
I hope you enjoy the blogs! Please contact me via my Game Informer page or on Twitter at @LouisGarcia12 with any blog news or playdate suggestions.
