RPG Grind Time – 40 Minutes Of Persona 5

by Kimberley Wallace on Nov 20, 2016 at 10:21 AM

Yesterday's announcement of Persona 5's delay to April in North America was devastating for fans, especially since the game is already out in Japan. But as RPG fans know, QA, voice work, and localization can make or break a game, and Atlus is doing its due diligence to provide the best experience possible. Today, I'm posting a special edition of Grind Time. I had recorded this video before Atlus' stream yesterday (excuse the references to the February release date!) to give you all a look at the Japanese import version of Persona 5.

Note: None of us speak enough Japanese to know what's going on in regards to dialogue, but at the very least you can get an idea of the gameplay and the overall aesthetics. Everything I'm seeing so far looks like this will be an amazing experience, and I'm a firm believer that good things come to those who wait. This is my most anticipated game for 2017, hands down. I can't wait to find out more about the characters.

In the video below, watch us go through an early dungeon, fight a crazy gym teacher, and run through the streets of Shibuya.

What do you think so far?
