Destiny - Xur's Gear And Upgrades For The Weekend Of September 23
Guess who's back? That's right. Xur's setting up shop at the Reef this week, so you have a reason to step away from the new Iron Tower hub.
This week Xur is packing gear and upgrades for guardians jumping back into Destiny. He's selling gear at 350 light, which is a statistical improvement for many returning players. While most of the stock is older items, the warlock boots are one of the new exotics. Pro tip: Buying three coins from Xur and using them is currently the best way to farm for new exotics in the field. Here's a look at the toys on sale:
Monte Carlo (exotic auto rifle) - 23 strange coins
- Attack: 350
- Magazine: 36
- Dealing damage with this weapon reduces your melee cooldown and grants a chance to fully charge your melee ability with each kill
- This weapon has bonus accuracy while firing from the hip
Transversive Steps (exotic warlock leg armour) - 13 strange coins
- Defense: 350
- Discipline: 50/73
- Strength: 53/76
- Faster movement speed while crouching. Ammo pickups automatically reload that weapon type
- Increased Agility for five seconds after a Solar Double kill
- Carry more ammo for special weapons
Celestial Nighthawk (exotic hunter helmet) - 13 strange coins
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 39/58
- Strength: 45/64
- Golden Gun fires one shot with 6x damage, while granting Keyhole for overpenetration
- Gain bonus super energy on grenade kills
- Replenish health when you pick up an orb
Twilight Garrison (exotic titan chest armor) - 13 strange coins
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 57/82
- Discipline: 56/81
- Press O/B,O/B while airborne to evade
- Increased Recovery for 5 seconds after taking Solar splash damage
- Carry more ammo for Special Weapons
Legacy Exotic Engram (gauntlets) - 31 strange coins
