Replay – Jak II
With the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End this weel, the spotlight is on Naughty Dog. In honor of the release, we take back a look at one of the studio's classics, which marked its first step toward more mature storytelling.
Jak II released in 2003 and was a follow-up to the highly-regarded Jak & Daxter. The game picks up quite literally where the first game left off, but took it a dramatic new direction while maintaining its fantastic platforming and animated sense of humor. Join myself and Andrew Reiner as we introduce Jeff Cork to the series and attempt to set a speedrun record. For the second part of the episode, we randomly grabbed a Super Nintendo game from our vault that none of us new anything about, but ended up being surprisingly entertaining.
