You'll notice we have blogs for the last two writing challenges in this week's edition. We missed two of them, or they didn't make the deadline, but they warranted a place in the roundup. In addition to those blogs, we have plenty of more for you to enjoy this week.

Anime That Deserve Their Own Games
Refle includes at least one anime series in this blog that indeed does have a serviceable game under its belt (Cowboy Bebop) – but only in Japanese. I'm all for anime and manga games if they are done well (here are some I really love). Heck, sometimes I like the mediocre ones as well. It's just nice to run around as Luffy and co.
Those Amazing Gaming Memories
GerardoExber gives us a look into his past with this blog. The anecdote about our blogger's mother calling Link "the boy in the tunic" reminds me of my mother. I'm sure we all have similar tales, and I encourage you all to share them.
Uncharted! Has It Been Too Long?
Brendon Curzio wonders if he will still feel connected to the world of Uncharted when the final game in the series is released next month. Luckily, I beat all three games in a row two years ago. I have a sneaking suspicion that fans will fall in love with the characters and world all over again when they finally play it.
Nioh! The Good and Bad of Game Clones
Brendon Curzio gets another mention this week for an interesting blog about game clones. They've been around for a long time. While I'll never play a clone of Monster Hunter thanks to how good it is, other game series have been "cloned" just fine – and sometimes come out better than the source material.

StarterPack ponders just what the next God of War will be like. I'm all in when it comes to Norse mythology, but there is a large portfolio of gods and stories the next game could include. It is anyone's guess as to what makes it in and what does not.

Haley Shipley's idea for a game starring Wonder Woman (including her pantheon of Greek gods) and setting it against the backdrop of the recent Brian Azzarello run of comics is exactly the type of game we need. Enough with Batman already; we need this.

GerardoExber could not have chosen a creepier main image for his blog, but don't let it deter you from reading. If you make it through the many weird scenes he writes about, you are right back to square one: Malo. Creeptastic.

StarterPack's second writing challenge response in this week's edition reminded me of the killer golden chicken in the Gears of War series, and just how bad game physics can be. That blog-ending gif really says it all.
A Smattering Of Weird (And Memorable) Moments In Gaming
Destiny hero Rebekah Lang pried herself from her latest gaming obsession long enough to write about some gaming oddities. One involves glitching in none other than Borderlands. The other scene is the one involving Far Cry and marijuana fields. It's nuts.
Community Writing Challenge:
I don't know where I saw this, but this question has been stuck in my head all week: Which video game food do you wish you could enjoy in the real world? I'll go with some Nuka Cola and a bowl of Koopasta. Maybe you've already gone one step further and made an actual dish? Let us know in a blog!
