Hardened survivors who manage their way through Rebecca and Billy's ordeal in Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster unlock a fun new treat. Capcom included Wesker Mode as an unlockable in the new Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster (read our review), an updated digital download of the 2002 GameCube prequel polished up the same way as last year's Resident Evil HD Remaster. We unlocked Wesker Mode after fighting our way through the runaway Ecliptic Express and are here to show off the super villain's suite of new, over-powered moves.
In the Test Chamber video below, Tim Turi and Ben Reeves step into the combat boots of former S.T.A.R.S. captain Albert Wesker and medic Rebecca Chambers. Wesker has his prototype virus-fueled super abilities seen in entries like Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Resident Evil 5. Rebecca remains mostly unchanged from RE 0, except with a decidedly more evil outfit, glowing red eyes, and what looks like a mind-control device on her chest. Watch the video to see Wesker's insane laser-eye powers explode zombies heads with ease and see him run laps around the shambling monsters.
