The Status Of The Top 25 Most Requested Xbox One Backward Compatibility Games
Update:
Microsoft has announced the December additions for its Xbox One backward compatibility library. The inclusions bring one of the promised games (Halo: Reach) and fifteen others.
This presented a perfect opportunity for us to revise the 25 most requested games via Microsoft’s poll. This time, we weeded out the games sitting in the list that have either been release or are confirmed for a future rollout.
The remaining games take us a bit further down the list, but give us an idea of what fans are requesting without taking up space with things you have (or will have in the near future). Note that some of the games on this list, like Mass Effect 2 and 3, are multi-disc games, and therefore not yet possible via Xbox One backward compatibility.

Original Story (November 9, 2015):
Earlier today, Microsoft announced the first 104 Xbox 360 games that will be part of the Xbox One backward compatibility program. While the list is filled with classics, there are some notable omissions that have fans buzzing.
Players have been able to vote on titles they want to see as part of the program since June. While voting gives Microsoft and third-party publishers direction, there are no guarantees that content owners are going to commit immediately.
We’ve decided to round up the current top 25 vote-winners to see where things stand.

Microsoft tells us that the backward compatibility team continues to work on multi-disc titles. Currently, those aren’t compatible, which is why games like Mass Effect 2 and 3 aren’t able to be part of the program yet.
You can check out the full voting list (and sure your own opinions) on Microsoft’s website.
