Replay – Star Wars: Republic Commando
We hope you all had a fantastic Force Friday, and were able to get your greedy hands on all of The Force Awakens action figures, remote-controlled robots, and towels that you wanted. Following this glorious shopping day, we remain on a bit of a Star Wars high, and wanted to continue talking about this amazing entertainment property on this week's Replay. We decided to take a look back at Star Wars: Republic Commando, the respectable first-person shooter that launched exclusively on Xbox on February 28, 2005.
We dive deep into a battle pitting the Republic's clone army against the Trade Federation and their winged Geonosian allies. We show off the game's teammate mechanics, and spend a fair amount of our conversation talking about Force Awakens and other Star Wars things.
In our final segment, we check out another Star Wars title, one of lesser quality that we strangely fall in love with. You may see more of this game in future episodes.
