Happy Xursday, everyone! Before we start, don't bother going to the Tower. Xur is on vacation in the darkest corner of the galaxy. Even Agents of the Nine want to check out the reef.

Before you get too excited, all of Xur's gear for this week comes from already existing content. No House of Wolves exotics are on offer. It's not going to be that easy.

Location: Xur is in The Reef. Head right from the spawn point, across the bridge, and look for the doorway that is well lit. He's tucked in a corner there.

As usual, he also has exotic shards (seven strange coins), the Urn of Sacrifice and bounty items (one strange coin), Sparrow upgrades (twenty-three strange coins), and telemetry for auto rifles, sniper rifles, and machine guns (one strange coin), and heavy ammo synth packs. Exotic helmet engrams will set you back 23 motes of light.

Note that Xur no longer carries upgrades, as the new "ascending" process for bringing your weapons to peak power is much improved. You won't need (correction: as much) glimmer, and you'll need the relevant materials and an exotic shard. For some gear, you'll need "etheric light" for the ascending process. Xur will now exchange strange coins for motes of light.
