Destiny - Xur's Gear And Upgrades For The Weekend Of January 9

Xur is back in Destiny’s Tower, but this week his offerings are a little lighter than usual. He often carries with him an exotic engram, but you won’t find one in stock this weekend.

The Agent of the Nine can be found just inside the Hangar (go down the stairs and bear right). Warlocks will likely be disappointed as the chest armor for sale and both gear upgrades are the same as last week. Here’s what he’s got this week:

Last Word (exotic hand cannon) - 23 strange coins

  • Kinetic, Fan Fire (Can be fired rapidly and continuously)
  • Attack: 302/331
  • Hip Fire (bonus accuracy while firing from the hip)
  • Last Word (bonus damage and stability and extra precision damage when firing from the hip) 

An Insurmountable Skull Fort (Titan helmet) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 407/447
  • Light: 30/36
  • Infusion (replenshes health each time you pick up an orb)
  • Impact Induction (causing damage with a melee attack recharges your grenade cooldown)
  • Improved Transfusion (kills with Storm Fist immediately trigger health regeneration and you spawn with full melee energy) 

Lucky Raspberry (Hunter chest) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 444/488
  • Light: 30/36
  • Fusion Rifle Ammo (increase capacity)
  • Heavy Weapon Ammo (increase capacity)
  • Arcbolt Grenade (Arcbolt Grenade chains further and you spawn with grenade energy)

Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest armor, The Dark Below) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 444/488
  • Light: 30/36
  • Fusion Rifle Ammo (increase capacity)
  • Heavy Weapon Ammo (increase capacity)
  • Starfire Protocol (gain an extra fusion grenade)

As usual, he also has exotic shards (seven strange coins), the Urn of Sacrifice (one strange coin), Sparrow upgrades (twenty-three strange coins), and telemetry for scout rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles (one strange coin). He also has heavy ammo synthesis for one coin.

  • Young Ahamkara's Spine (Hunter gauntlets)
  • Helm of Saint-14 (Titan helmet)

  • MIDA Multi-Tool (scout rifle)

  • Plan C (fusion rifle)
  • Gjallarhorn (rocket launcher)
  • Monte Carlo (auto rifle)
