The Wii U version of Watch Dogs has been a long time coming. As one of the last triple-A titles that Ubisoft plans to bring to Nintendo's current-gen console, the GamePad-enabled port is releasing roughly six months after the other versions. And we do mean roughly. How does it fare? Watch the video to find out.

Andrew Reiner, Wade Wojcik, and I head back to the mean (and now almost deserted) streets of Chicago to once again put unlikable vigilante Aiden Pearce through his paces. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Watch Dogs already took a performance hit compared to their new-gen counterparts, and the latest version continues the downward spiral; while the gameplay is largely the same, the Wii U version suffers from poor lighting, blurry textures, and choppy framerates that affect gameplay. So does the button layout, which has me constantly jumping out of moving vehicles. Actually, that last one might be my own fault...
