Test Chamber – Alien: Isolation

by Jeff Marchiafava on Oct 07, 2014 at 01:43 PM

Alien: Isolation is a slow and methodical survival-horror game, and while it's not without its faults, there's plenty to like for fans of the original film. The developer has successfully captured the look of Ridley Scott's 1979 classic, as well as the unrelenting intensity. Andrew Reiner, Jeff Cork, and I force Game Informer intern Matt Stolpe to take the controls and demonstrate his survival skills as he tries desperately to avoid the series' iconic xenomorph. Watch the video below to see how he fares, and to hear our impressions of what works and what doesn't for The Creative Assembly's new take on the Aliens universe.
