Replay – Dynasty Warriors 2
Before Dynasty Warriors earned the reputation of being a series of repetition, it was a showpiece of next-generation technology for the PlayStation 2 launch. With Hyrule Warriors hitting next week, and Kyle Hilliard giving it a fair amount of praise in his review, we decided to take a look back at the game that inspired it. Dynasty Warriors 2, despite being the second entry in the series, is the first to feature giant battlefields swimming with soldiers and kill counts reaching up into the thousands. We discuss the importance of this series, the history it had before this entry, and go well out of our way to make fun of Ben Hanson. We also try to get Jeff Marchiafava to speak Japanese.
