Test Chamber – R.I.P.D.

Sometimes during a Test Chamber, we find wonderful games like Towerfall that deserve more recognition. Other times, we play games that seem to walk under Ride to Hell: Retribution’s already low bar of quality.

R.I.P.D. (short for Rest in Peace Department) might fall into the latter category. It's a cooperative third-person shooter featuring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds as deceased police officers who are faced with a higher calling. The movie premise mentions something about protecting the world from evil, but the game looks to be made up primarily of frenetic, round-based combat. 

Watch as Tim and Reiner arrest a perpetrator, summon heavenly vines, and (try to) shoot plunger-wielding enemies.
