CosBlog #87: Injustice Catwoman by Lisa Lou Who

by Meagan Marie on Jun 20, 2013 at 12:00 PM

With dozens of incarnations to choose from, Catwoman cosplay is a convention staple. Lisa Lou put a unique twist on the classic black catsuit, and knocked this Injustice-inspired ensemble out of the park!

Who: The Character
Catwoman from Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Why: The Decision
Catwoman has been a character I have loved for quite a long time, and was very excited about the Injustice video game. Once they introduced the Catwoman trailer for the game, I fell in love and knew this was a cosplay I needed to make!

What: The Process
I spent about four weeks making this costume, and about $200. The most difficult parts were working with skintight, stretchy PVC, and making my first craft foam armor! Those shoes were awesome, but so hard to walk in all day!

Where and When: The Debut
I wore this at NYCC for the first time. My photoshoot with Photosynthique was in downtown Minneapolis where I live, and we chose this alleyway because of the big old-fashioned door in the background and the all-around Gotham feel.
