Weekend Warrior 11/09/12

by Jordan LaPorte on Nov 09, 2012 at 01:00 PM

The behemoth that is Halo 4 finally dropped this week, adding to the already large pile of great games to play through. Everything from big releases like Halo 4 to downloadable games like Mark of the Ninja will be getting some attention over the next couple days. What will you be up to this weekend?

Andrew Reiner: I'm plowing through as many games as I can. I'm almost done with Assassin's Creed III. Need for Speed: Most Wanted is next. I also have to finish Resident Evil 6.

Ben Hanson: This weekend I plan on spending more time with Paper Mario: Sticker Star. I also hope to play more Need for Speed: Most Wanted, I love it but I'm only working my way through single player. Maybe I'll dabble in the celebrated multiplayer. Have a good weekend!

Jason Pfitzer: I will most likely be spending this weekend finishing off the first BioShock, and then immediately beginning the sequel. Additionally, I might try to get a couple more ranked League of Legends matches in before season two ends. Beyond video games, I'm hoping that the weather stays nice enough for me to get outside and go disc golfing.

Kyle Hilliard: This weekend I will be playing Assassin's Creed III, but mostly Halo 4. Maybe I'll dabble with some XBLA games I missed like Dust and Mark of the Ninja. Also, I still need to see Wreck-it Ralph, and the new Bond.

Mike Mahardy: I’m currently tackling Halo 4 on Legendary. The heroic playthrough was absolutely amazing and it’s contending with Halo 2 for my favorite campaign. In between multiplayer bouts in Halo 4, I’ll be thwarting Templar plots and liberating New York in Assassin’s Creed 3. Resident Evil Revelations is always a good break from the console games, so I plan to make a dent in that as well.

Jordan LaPorte: I’ve been waiting for this weekend to really delve into the campaign of Halo 4. The sound design is top notch, so I want to play through it with the volume on my sound system pumped up, which is hard to do on a weeknight without annoying the people I live with. On top of that, I’ll probably fit in some Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Assassin’s Creed III. If I find the time I would really like to see either Skyfall or Lincoln as well.
