by Jordan LaPorte on Oct 26, 2012 at 03:40 PM

This week in mobile has a little something for everyone, crime drama, zombies invading Los Angeles, Duke Nukem lookalikes, and raptors firing lasers out of their mouths. Just another week in mobile gaming.

To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the mobile version of Grand Theft Auto III is getting a price drop from the usual $4.99 to $0.99. This offer is only for a limited time according to Rockstar, so if you’ve been waiting to jump back into Liberty City, now may be a good time to do so.

Like Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is also getting a discount, marking it down to $0.99 for a limited time. The game usually sells for $9.99, so this could be a great offer for anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to play Chinatown Wars yet.

Los Angeles has been invaded by zombies and it falls upon the player to tear through all of them using the wicked weapons of Zombiewood. Zombiewood is a dual-stick shooter featuring 20 different weapons, a cartoon art style inspired by a Hollywood setting, and 10 unique game modes.

Name - Infinite Monsters

Infinite Monsters is an action game starring a guy who is totally not Duke Nukem. Players are tasked with travelling to different locations and dispatching the various zombies, demons, and other monsters they may find there. Players tap the bottom left key to move around and the bottom right key to fire one of the 14 different weapons available in the game.

Name - Punch Quest
Developer: Rocketcat games
Price: Free
Platform: iOS

Punch Quest is an arcade-style fighting game which is controlled by tapping with your left and right thumbs. Outside of having a fantastic title, Punch Quest also allows players to unlock and equip special abilities, customize their character, ride a dinosaur that shoots lasers out of its mouth, punch an egg which turns their character into a magical gnome, and earn fancy hats. Yes, those last three things were all in the official description of the game.

Name - He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe
Developer: Chillingo Ltd.
Price: $0.99
Platform: iOS

This game lets players take control of He-Man and defend the secrets of Castle Grayskull against the evil forces of Skeletor. The game has He-Man characters that have been remastered for the modern generation, 27 levels spanning 7 different areas of Eternia, and secret powers and upgrades. How does one measure how “powerful” a game is anyway?
