The development of Halo 4 not only marks a slight change in tone and direction for the numbered Halo entries, but 343 Industries is also taking a new approach to the management of Halo's expanded universe. In order to keep the ever-expanding Halo storyline from splintering off in a million different directions, the new Halo team is taking more care to focus and craft side stories for different mediums.
