Replay – Spy Hunter: Nowhere To Run

by Phil Kollar on Mar 10, 2012 at 03:40 AM

For most people, if I say "Spy Hunter," you'll probably think of the arcade action-racing classic or one of its early console ports. For us here at Replay, that name brings a much darker image to mind, and it's one that includes pro wrestler The Rock.

Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run is one of the worst late-era Midway games, adapting a beloved franchise into a a bland action game. It was originally supposed to be backed up by a movie (starring the Rock, of course), but that film seems to be forever trapped in development hell.

On this week's Replay I'm joined by Andrew Reiner, Ben Reeves, and Bryan Vore as we discover what it truly feels like to be trapped in the body of the Rock and the joys of body-slamming dudes onto lasers.

Stay tuned after the regular Replay for week two of Super Replay Showdown. This week Tim Turi faces off against Kyle Hilliard, and Ben Reeves stares down the gaping maw of despair that is Jeff Cork.

Whether this is your first Replay or your fiftieth, be sure to catch up on our rich history of over 100 episodes in the Replay hub.
