Every year, the Into the Pixel exhibit honors a select group of outstanding artists and their work by including them in a touring art installation. The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences and the Entertainment Software Association have announced the winners for the 2011 exhibition, and you can see them here.
The exhibit will be formally unveiled during E3, and it will continue travel around the world throughout the year. These 17 selections were chosen by a jury of experts, and culled from submissions by artists across the industry. The subject matter is drawn from games including God of War III, Dragon Age II, BioShock Infinite, Kinectimals, and many others.
