Sea Of Thieves Adds Halo-Themed Ship Free This Week

by Blake Woog on Jun 12, 2019 at 12:43 PM

You can rock some new Halo-themed digs in Sea of Thieves this week, and all you have to do is show up. To celebrate E3 week, anyone who logs on to play adventure or arena mode in Sea of Thieves will automatically receive a Spartan ship set, boasting the colors and emblem of the UNSC from the iconic shooter franchise.

The ship will only be available until June 15th at 6 PM CT, so act fast to rep the Halo series on the water. The ship may take up to 72 hours to be added to your account.

When we asked executive producer Joe Neate about the potential of Sea of Thieves content themed after various science-fiction Microsoft properties (like Jet Force Gemini) back in April, he said "It would break immersion. As we move forward we are always looking at new opportunities to celebrate the history of Rare, whilst doing it in the style of Sea of Thieves so it doesn’t look out of place.” For more on that interview head here.
