Google Hosting A Stadia Event On June 6
It's only been a few months since megalithic technology company Google first revealed Stadia, a new online-only cloud-based gaming platform which allows games to be played on any device with a stable internet connection. Since then, however, Google has been fairly quiet, hinting that there will be more information around E3 time but without word of a physical press conference. Well, it makes sense that the cloud-based service would have a livestreamed presentation titled Stadia Connect.

E3 starts earlier every year.
It isn't quite clear what Google intends to talk about at this presentation. At GDC, the company announced first-party efforts, but didn't really have a lot of internal or external software to show off quite yet. Considering the March show was to introduce the technology of the platform, the E3 (or E3-adjacent) show would likely best be used to make some major claims of software support.
Google has previously left cryptic hints that suggest the possibility of games like Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption, but it is impossible to say until an an official announcement has been made or ruled out. It does not seem likely that any third party would reveal a major new game there, especially a few days ahead of E3, but Google might have a first-party game to at least tease. Some smaller third party reveals are also possible.
We asked Google VP Phil Harrison a few questions about Stadia that still need to bear out in March and more recently spoke with the former OnLive CEO about lessons he would share with the Stadia team.
