Bethesda has revealed more details about the upcoming Fallout 76 beta, including when it's coming and how it all works. The B.E.T.A., as they're calling it (short for Break-It Early Test Application) will be running in specific time windows through the end of October.

The beta hits the Xbox One first on October 23, and it arrives on PlayStation 4 and PC a week later. It'll run from those days until a few days before the game's November 14 launch. During that time, the beta will be live for periods of about four to eight hours a day. When it's live, players will have access to the complete game, with the goal of having player progress carry over to the final version when it launches.

The beta is only available to players who preorder the game and redeem a code that comes with their preorder receipt. For complete details, check out the official FAQ.
