Dead Cells has been in Steam Early Access since last year, but August holds the light at the end of the tunnel. Previously announced as the digital release month, August now also holds the release date for the physical editions of Dead Cells.

Motion Twin's action game is getting two different physical editions. The standard retail version includes a 20-page artbook and retails for $29.99 on PS4 and $34.99 on Switch. Dead Cells is also receiving a limited Signature Edition for both consoles. The Signature Edition is limited to 2,000 copies for each format and includes a two-CD soundtrack, an exclusive enamel character pin, a 56-page hardback artbook, and a numbered certificate of authenticity. The Signature Edition sells for $45 on PS4 and $50 on Switch.

In addition to those physical versions of the game, the soundtrack is getting a special edition of its own. Laced Records is releasing a deluxe double-vinyl set for fans of Dead Cells' music. Containing 15 tracks from the soundtrack composed by Yoann Laulan, the record is pressed on double 180g transparent violet and orange vinyl, and packaged in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. The soundtrack is set to release in September for $35.

While we still don't have a concrete release date for the digital editions of Dead Cells, these physical editions hit U.S. shores on August 21. To preorder the Signature Edition of Dead Cells, head here. To secure your copy of the vinyl soundtrack, head here.
