The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

CD Projekt Boasts About "The Most Complex And Nonlinear Story On Xbox 360"

When The Witcher 2 finally comes out for Xbox 360 in April, it will introduce console gamers to a series that PC players have been raving about for some time now. According to developer CD Projekt Red, that's not the only bragging rights The Witcher 2 has. In a new video, the team claims it will be the most complex and nonlinear story ever told on the Xbox 360.

Check out the developer diary video below for five-and-a-half minutes of some very Polish gentlemen talking about how incredible their game's story is. Of particular interest, a single decision you make in the game will completely change what location your character travels to in the second act, which sounds pretty impressive indeed.

Watch it below and then check out the previous developer diary here.

  • Take notes Bioware... this is how it's done.
  • wow now thats a one of a kind game right there

take a big look everyone this is the future of gaming...hopfully. but then again i could be wrong as usual
  • Really excited for this game! Looks so awesome!

  • PS3? ;____;
  • I dont understand why they dont bring this to PS3 so they can get a even bigger audience for this game....that being said I will be getting this for my 360
  • Looks pretty cool. Definitely buying the PC version after I buy the vita.

  • Played the PC version, 360 players are in for a great game. Just as Bethesda makes great worlds, CD Projekt are absolute masters of storytelling and character. With Bioware acting as "EA-RPG" now, I suspect that this dev will be the real future of story-based RPGs.
  • I bought this game on PC but im buying it again for xbox. Such a great game!

  • I love CD Projekt, proud of their game and for good reason. Waiting for my Dark edition eagerly.

  • I hope this game is good. My friend has it for his PC and he talks about it all the time.

  • I want.

  • I'll pick this up eventually, but I still have to play through Skyrim, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Mass Effect 3 next month. I don't know where to find the time when working fulltime and being a fulltime student.
  • They speak the truth. On my second PC playthrough and I can't wait to get the Dark Edition come April. The Witcher 2 was easily the best RPG of this gen. It set a new bar for storytelling and player choice in games.
  • Can't wait to take a shot at this series.  If this is where gaming is heading, then count me in.

  • Meh.
  • Deff getting this...what a year so far for RPGs

  • Sounds like it's going to be pretty innovative for console gaming if they can deliver. I probably won't pick this up though and if I do it won't be for a long time. Too many other games have grasped my attention.
  • I'm pretty excited for this title, too bad I don't have a strong enough PC to play the game when it first came out.

  • Still gotta finish the first Witcher game, let alone go and buy this game. I'm pretty sure I've recommended the first game to everyone I know that loves a good RPG that isn't a generic high fantasy setting like most tend to be.
  • why waste time with an xbox version? so much more could have been done for a ps3 version
