Nintendo Shows Off More Super Mario 3D World Gameplay

The latest Nintendo Minute video spends more time in Super Mario 3D World on Wii U.

The video covers the game's first stage and gives us a glimpse at how it looks with four cooperative players. The highly publicized cat costumes make an appearance as well as the Mega Mushroom.

For more on Super Mario 3D world you can check out the latest trailer, or the last Super Mario 3D World Nintendo Minute video.

Super Mario 3D World comes out on November 22, which happens to be the same release date as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It's going to be a Nintendo-filled day.

  • This game looks like so much fun, I can't wait to play it.

This game is drop-dead gorgeous. There is no other way to describe it. Not just the HD graphics, but the simplicity of the models and the layered style of everything, combined with the shading and just the random, quirky sound and visual effects. It's so darn good-looking!

I just wish that there were a dynamic split-screen option similar to how the newer Lego games do it. With all of this chaos going on, it looks really easy to lose yourself or wander somewhere far off, and I'd hate to have to end up spending one-fifth of the level in a bubble or on the far edge of the screen while my siblings run wild everywhere.

Now that I've seen gameplay of this, I can say that when I get a Wii U, I'm getting this. It looks fresh, frantic, and most importantly, fun. Now if only they would've replaced that stupid Toad with Yoshi...
  • Game looks amazing but I think I'd rather play singleplayer. Multiplayer looks too hectic to be taken seriously.
  • For all the crap that people throw at Nintendo for catering to the "casual" audience, everyone has to admit that, when it comes to the core Nintendo games like Mario, Zelda, DKC, Pokémon, etc...Nintendo hits it out of the park every single time.
  • Never thought I'd say it after the E3 reveal, but this is now my most anticipated game of the year.  Looks like they might have gotten back some of the 3D Mario magic!

  • With Zelda, this, and the Xbox One, Nov. 22nd will slay many gamers' wallets.
  • Adam West's most anticipated game ever, Super Catman World!
  • I'm creating $86 associate degree hour engaging from home. i used to be appalled once my neighbour told Pine Tree State she was averaging $95 however I see however it works currently. I feel most freedom currently that i am my very own boss. this is often what I do,
  • This game is looking fantastic. Must buy for all WiiU owners
  • This looks to be the best Mario game to date. The co-op action looks like it's going to be a blast to play with friends. I'm already sold on this game.

  • Its a day one buy for me.

  • Cool Super Mario Can't Wait to Play Fun. When Soon next months November 22 open Super Mario.

  • This looks effing amazing!  Windwaker hd and this game are reasons enough to own a wii u.

  • Get a wii u if u don't have one. For nintendo exclusives alone it is worth the $300.

  • This game looks great. Look like a lot of fun.

  • Still not sold on this step backwards. Rather than taking Mario Galaxy and leaping off to new greatness, they merely copy the 3DS Mario Land game and added more costumes. Even the graphics aren't particularly impressive given how great the Mario Galaxy games looked. The Wii U hasn't even been out a full year yet, and it already has too many Mario games.
