  • I keep forgetting about this game. I hope it turns out to be a good one in the series.

  • where is Caius?
  • February 11th, 2013? I usually don't point out mistakes in the articles but a release date is to major to not point out.
  • Oh boy! Snow is back! Did he find a personality between this game and the last or it it more of the same brutal cut scenes where he acts like a complete buffoon?
  • Something about this series turns me off. I keep wanting to try one of 'em, but there's something about these games I can't put my finger on... Am I really missing out on much?
  • Can't wait, I enjoyed the first two very much. Caius is actually my favorite villian in the FF series as hard as that may be.
  • Awesome! Caius is probably my favorite FF villain . I also really liked Noel. I can't wait to play this!
  • If Hope stays the f**k out of this game I might play it when its $20. I honestly can't think of a character I hate in a bad way more than Hope.
  • Oh my god... Someone please tell Squenix that they are seriously ruining the franchise to the ground. Bad enough it was a step back from FF12 (which wasn't all that great) but the worst part is they took the whole thing about FF sequels being stand alone game of their own (new worlds and characters) out of the picture. What is going on with FF10 - part 2 and crap?

Can we just get to Versus already?

  • Still not going to bother with this after how let down I was with XIII.  I really wish that Square-Enix would just move away from this part of the Final Fantasy universe.

  • Kinda figured we'd see a lot of familiar faces. Glad to here it tho, looking forward to the next installment!

  • correction: release date is February 11, 2014

  • So it's okay to make 3 different XIII games, two X games, but for some reason... it's not okay to make a Sequel to VII. A true sequel. I just can't fathom the thinking.
  • correction: release date is February 11, 2014

  • As much as this is one of my most anticipated games coming soon. I can't help but hope that it clarify's a lot of missing holes in the story. After XIII ended I loved the way everything unfolded...once XIII-2 hit though I was completely lost until I played through ending after ending..I think my biggest problem was that I had to play as Serah and that you didn't see much of the original cast all that much. I have high expectations for Lightning Returns because of how much I loved XIII including Gameplay-Story-Graphics & in my opinion a pretty strong cast (not as good by no means as the other FF's) Square hopefully you give me an ending that isn't so jumbled.
  • Mike, it's Feb. 11, 2014. Just a friendly reminder, sorry if you wrote this during a rough day or something. :)

  • Meh..

  • Had no idea that Yeul and Caius would be coming back...does that count as a spoiler?

  • You know, in spite of myself, I think I'm actually getting hyped for this game! I played FF13, and was underwhelmed, to say the least... so I didn't play FF13-2, but this actually looks kinda good! I'm not going to hold my breath or anything, but if a trilogy box set comes out, I'm hopping aboard.

  • Personally I am quite excited for this. We can finally right the wrongs of XIII-1 and XIII-2.
