It Doesn't Get More Bromazing Than This

If you have played Broforce or followed our previous coverage, you'll know that the game has no shortage of bros based on various action movies and the like. With this new free crossover game, Free Lives is showing that it isn't afraid to go even further with its masculine-fueled indie title.

With characters based on Indiana Jones, Terminator, RoboCop, John McClane, and much more, Broforce already has an impressive collection of bros. In the trailer below, you can take a look at the newest bros based on characters from The Expendables 3 who appear in the new standalone title, The Expendabros.

Some of the new bros include Broney Ross (Barney Ross - Sylvester Stalone), Brocter Death (Doctor Death - Wesley Snipes), and Bro Christmas (Lee Christmas - Jason Statham). In addition to the new bros, the crossover game includes 10 brand-new missions. For character profiles and a new batch of screens, check out the image gallery below.

Sadly, this isn't an expansion for the original Broforce game; it's more of a demo. But it's free and you can download it on the games' Steam page. It's the perfect slice of gameplay for those who might still be on the fence over the title.

Broforce is a side-scrolling action title that often draws comparisons to Contra and Metal Slug. It can be found on Steam Early Access today and is slated for a full release sometime in 2015. We like Broforce quite a bit, so be sure to read our initial impressions of the title here.

  • This game looks really fun. Of course they have to add Expendables in there. Jason Statham for the win.

  • I only watch this kind of movies just for the explosions and one liners told on screen by our favorite 80-90 movie stars.
  • Downloaded and played this afternoon. It's pretty fun, but also gets very repetitive fairly quickly. I'm glad they did the demo. It satiated my Broforce cravings perfectly without having to buy the game. :)
