Last Of Us, Tearaway, Grand Theft Auto V Win Big At The BAFTA Awards

The Last of Us took home five BAFTA trophies last night, earning awards in half of the categories it was nominated in, including Game of the Year. Media Molecule's Tearaway and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V followed close by, taking home three prizes each.

In addition to winning the Best Game in 2014 category, Naughty Dog's game earned awards for Best Story, Audio Achievement, and Best Action and Adventure Game, while actress Ashley Johnson took home the Best Performer prize for her portrayal of Ellie.

Our Take
It was a great night for Sony, which published both The Last of Us and Tearaway. Looking at the list is a reminder of just how many remarkable (and wildly varying) games came out in 2013. Here's hoping that we can say the same thing next year, too.
