The lights are on
With only a couple of weeks left until E3, Tecmo Koei has announced the titles they will be exhibiting. It's clear from the lineup that the publisher chose to play it safe with long established franchises. Tactical combat franchise Dynasty Warriors, fighting series Dead or Alive are among the series being revisited at the expo on June 11.
Dynasty Warriors 8 will bring back previous characters and introduce some new faces to the story on July 16.
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will also be shown at E3 with a confirmed release date of September 3. The PlayStation 3 title Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland will be ported to the PlayStation Vita on September 3 as well.
Even the Ninja Gaiden series is not immune to zombie overload with Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z planned for release in early 2014. The game will be a playable demo for the expo.
Toukiden was announced as a new franchise for display at the expo. A PlayStation Vita title, Toukiden follows a slayer set out to eradicate demons from a world inspired by Japanese history and folklore.

Yaiba is the only game I am really interested in, and that's mostly because of the art style they are going with. From what I have heard though, the gameplay is supposed to match well with the comic book style, so hopefully the game will be able to make itself stand out from every single other zombies and ninjas game.
This looks like a great lineup of games being presented at this years E3. ^_^
This is good news for me!DW 8,doa 5 ultimate, and ninja gaiden yaiba,im really looking for to this.^_^
Well as a long time fan of the dynasty warriors franchise all I can say is I hope they don't muck it up by making it console exclusive.
DW8 is a must-buy for me, so I can't wait to see the E3 coverage. I'm also really excited to see what they show of Toukiden. They've been releasing demos on the Japanese PSN.
No Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 4? Aw...These were the only Dynasty Warriors games that I liked more than the originals. That and Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, even though it was a really expensive DW knockoff.
KOEI GIVE ME SAMURAI WARRIORS 3 !!!
Dynasty Warriors has a good concept but a tired and frankly boring execution. They need to revamp that sucker somehow. Maybe add some more RPG qualities to it while making the combat less repetitive and worthwhile. just my humble opinion
