[Updated] New Shinji Mikami Game Called The Evil Within

by Mike Futter on Apr 19, 2013 at 02:26 AM

[Update] The first teaser for the game is live at IGN. Additionally, Bethesda has shared via Instagram that they will be doling out more details starting Monday April 22, 2013. For now you'll have to content yourself with monsters crawling out of blood and a person (?) furiously creating barbed wire.

[Original Story]

My money was on a new Wolfenstein game (and I was wrong), but IGN has just confirmed that they will have the exclusive first look at Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami's next project tomorrow. Tune in at 5 AM Pacific / 8 AM Eastern for the reveal. The title has been in production under the code name "Zwei."

Mikami's new studio, Tango Gameworks, was acquired by Zenimax Media (parent of Bethesda Softworks) in October 2010.
