The lights are on
ZeniMax Media has announced the acquisition of Shinji Mikami's Tango Gameworks development studio. Mikami, best known for creating Resident Evil as well as newer games such as Vanquish, will develop games for ZeniMax's Bethesda Softworks.
“It’s refreshing to find a publisher who understands, trusts, and supports the development of blockbuster games and works to make it a collaborative effort,” said Mikami. “The library of AAA franchise titles ZeniMax owns speaks for itself. We are very excited to be joining ZeniMax and working with a company that is dedicated to creating the best games ever made.”
The deal follows last June's purchase of id Software and August's acquisition of Arkane Studios. Mikami will continue to run the company from Tokyo.

cool :)
So... are we in for an open-world, survival-horror, fps-rpg? I seriously hope so, Mikami needs to go back to his horror roots.
See, I've haven't heard a single negative thing from the companies being acquired by ZeniMax, and now they have yet another fantastic company to add to their repertoire.
This can only lead to great things. ZeniMax has been on a very good track record lately and only seems to be looking up for the company. This bodes well for gamers everywhere!
Two of my favorite things are now one!
Nice. Let's get a bethesda RE lol.
ZeniMax really is going to be the next huge thing, huh? Good deal.
Bethesda is really making a push to become a huge publisher.
The last time I played Fallout, I was thinking how awesome a survival horror, open world RPG would be.
Oh man, both Resident Evil and Fallout have good story, I can't wait to see what they can come up with.
