New Animal Crossing Trailer Invites Tourists To Turn Over New Leaf
Your Animal Crossing town might not have a name yet, but when you take office as the mayor, the tourism department will already be hard at work. In the latest trailer for the upcoming 3DS entry, entitled New Leaf, Nintendo is showing off some of the activities waiting for residents. Fishing, bug catching, and treasure hunting are only a rod, net, and shovel away.
Given the player's role as mayor, it will be interesting to discover if Tom Nook is as pushy as he was in previous iterations. I don't think loan sharking is legal in most municipalities. Thankfully, you'll be able to dance the night away with DJ K.K. Slider (though it's unclear if he'll be a bit more available this time out).
Animal Crossing New Leaf will be available at retail and in the Nintendo eShop on June 9, 2013.
