The lights are on
[UPDATE] It appears Sony got this one completely wrong.
On the official PlayStation Twitter feed, Sony backpedaled on its previous announcement.
"Yesterday, we incorrectly reported Final Fantasy VI & Chrono Trigger coming to PSN this Tuesday. They are not. We apologize for the error."
[Thanks, to reader Scott DeRuby for the tip.]

After separate rumors that Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI (III in the U.S.) were headed to PlayStation Network, the time has finally come.
Surprisingly, Square Enix is dropping these two SNES-era RPG titans on the very same day. The PSN store usually updates on Tuesday so we should see it then.
This news comes on the heels of Chrono Trigger's confirmation for both iOS and Android phones. There is no release date yet announced for those versions of the game.

not me ive got both of these on my snes ds and wii
I already have Chrono Trigger on SNES, DS, and PS1... so I don't think I'll be getting it. Got FF6 on SNES, GBA, and PS1 as well. Nice to know it's out though!
Great to see these available on the PSN, now if only I did not have such a huge backlog of games to play
I already own anthology and chronicles. Been playing both of these games on my PS2. Awesome games. They truly are.
If I didn't already own the PS1 versions of the games, I would jump at the chance to buy and download these. Unless they have PSN exclusive content, I'll pass.
Aaaaaaaamazing
I don't care how many times I've purchased both of these games; I will be doing it again.
I did not play either of these games until this year, both are now among my favorites of all time 20 something years after they originally came out. Buy these!
Yes.
Chrono trigger is a day one buy, but I might put off Final Fantasy VI, I like the games but I have enough on my plate with some of them being FFIX and BOFIV.
