E3 2016 Day Three Recap

by Matt Miller on Jun 14, 2016 at 02:38 PM

After two full days of press conferences from the likes of EA, Bethesda, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Sony, the full E3 show floor finally opened up to attendees on Tuesday afternoon. The opportunity to dig in and play some of the games that have been showcased in recent days was a welcome change of pace, even as new screenshots and videos continued to release surrounding some of the most exciting announcements of the show.

Without a doubt, day three's big winner is Nintendo, as the publisher showed off multiple facets of its flagship game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We also learned new details about mysterious games like Insomniac's Spider-Man, checked out some gameplay of Halo Wars 2, and began to explore the first of many VR experiences on offer at this year's big show. Dive into our full coverage below, and check back tomorrow as we continue our full week of blowout coverage on the biggest event in gaming.
