Introducing The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

by Kyle Hilliard on Jun 14, 2016 at 06:10 AM

Nintendo showed a new trailer for latest Zelda, revealing the game's subtitle and a number of new mechanics.

You can check out the trailer below for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which includes lots of new details. Environments include canyons, snowy mountains, deserts, and more tropical areas with palm trees, each with dilapidated structures. You also see a number of animals in the wild including ducks, horses, birds, and deer. Link is even shown taming one of the wild horses.

Link also appears to have a number of new abilities including climbing, cooking, swimming, hunting, the ability to chop down trees to create bridges, the ability to push giant boulders down hills, and the ability to set grass on fire using a torch. We also saw a magnet item for retrieving things from underwater and some kind of wall-creating item. Link was also shown using different weapons like a spear and an axe and wearing different outfits, including full armor. Some other blink-and-you-miss-it moments include a big storm, a dilapidated version of the enemy seen in the game's original trailer, a giant roaming skeleton, a giant moblin, a rock monster, and a large bridge that was reminiscent of the iconic bridge from Twilight Princess.
