I have yet to find one bad thing about this game, everyone loves it. I haven't seen this since RE4.

I do like weapon crafting, but I just can't get this game. I need the moneyz.

So...is there an in-game tutorial, or is that, like, DLC?

I made a gun with TWO plasma cutters!!

...I'm starting to wonder if anyone else found the crafting system intuitive from the start. I had a few issues at -very- first, but then almost immediately after just checking a brief bit, I had a firm grasp of how things worked.

That said, I wish I had another 30 bucks. Everything I see further about this game makes me want it more..

At what point is a product advertised so much that it works against itself? Because I am at that point with all these Defiance commercials. I will never watch the show or play the game now.

Cool video.  When I get DS3, I may have to come back to this video.

Great video and super useful. The crafting system is super deep and when you're playing co-op, like I am, you're partner may not have the patience to let you sit around and tinker for hours. The weapon arena was a really smart move on Visceral's part.

As far as cool weapons go, I started like Tim in trying to keep things traditional but pretty soon couldn't help myself and started messing with the other stuff. Favorite combos so far:

Electric bouncing bolo with a line gun bottom - really good for crowd control.

Acid rivet chain gun with a buzz saw bottom that shoots out - great for panic situations.

Acid semi-auto rivet gun with bouncing bolo - power and precision plus crowd control, the rivets have a lot of push-back too.

Marauder repeater with rocket launcher - just ridiculous, as long as you have the splash damage guard.

Also, on certain special frames some of the upgrade slots are closed except if they are orange, those can be opened up by paying for them.
