  • And all tension is killed.
  • I'm going to rent this before I buy it so that I can see if I like it as much as the first. I don't have any friends that are into Dead Space and I'm worried that my experience may be hindered without co-op. Just like when I tried playing Resident Evil 5 solo.

Also, i just bought part 1, so according to my calculations, I'll play this one in Q4 2014.
  • The game looks good, but not 9.75 good. IGNs reviews says the story and quest-structure(not sure if that's the right term for it) are poor.
  • I am finding the reviews of this game hilarious! The new fad of diametrically opposed review scores is a fun and interesting trend to see. Best know what you like people, of find a reviewer that you really align with and read their reviews when applicable. Anywho, this was one game I was getting regardless of the reviews, the gameplay and sound stage of the DS series simply pulls me in and doesn't let go. However, Tim's glowing review is nice to see, his approach to gaming and many of the games he has reviewed seems to match my tastes, so it's a safe bet I will enjoy the $$$$ out of this game.
  • I end all Dead Space games, i watch all the movies, i read the book an the comics... this its a good survival horror, BUT if the people think this its going to be like the first one, they are wrong, the first impression its always the most shocking, the second...not much...etc, also becouse now the game change a lot, thats the problem with this kind of games, people want horror not adventure or action. (this happends with Resident Evil)
  • That's a lot of praise, and I can hear the enthusiasm in his voice which is great to hear. I'm buying this game later today, but so far, there's a lot of opinions about it that differ.
  • Pre-ordered it but won't get here before the weekend :(
Oh well, I'm extremely busy with work anyways.

PS: I get goosebumps every time I see the ad for this game :P
  • This game looks very pretty.  I'll have to check it out at some point.

  • Really looking forward to playing this later on in the week. I'm hoping it will succeed for me where RE6(I still enjoyed six, it just wasn't the RE I was hoping for) let me down.

I can tell you one thing, it already has a feature from RE4 that I was hoping it would include. The weapon crafting and upgrading system, which looks to be fairly deep from the limited time I had in the demo.

All in all, I'm very excited for The Thing vibe they're going for in this one.(Not that it wasn't present in the others, just more so with the arctic environment)
  • love it.....

  • It's interesting that GI is far and away the highest score on metacritic. The mixed reaction is more in line with my expectations and as it is, I'm not sure it's the kind of game worth spending limited funds on for me.
  • Dead Space: 9.75 Ni No Kuni: 7.0 Something is wrong here!
  • Resident Evil 6 gets a 8.75 and this gets a 9.75? Looks like Tim Turi wants to see the survival horror genre in the hands of indie devs only within the next couple years.

He really needs to stop playing the terrible survival horror super replays...
  • This game looks wicked.

  • I want it SOOOOO bad!

  • Why not WII U? It looks like a wii u game.
  • Just got the game, can't wait to play it!  Great Test Chamber guys.

  • I really need to play through this series...
