The lights are on
Our original plan for Super Replay was to give the best games of all time a lengthier treatment than our standard Replay episodes. I kicked things off with my favorite game ever, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. We continued with the classics by playing through Super Mario Bros. 3 and Resident Evil 2. However, things changed as soon as I picked an unassuming 1997 PSone title for our Replay Roulette during the Revolution X episode. We were so intrigued by what happened during the initial minutes of Overblood that we knew it needed to be the first obscure title to get its own Super Replay treatment. A year later, and the GI staff has Pipo t-shirts, the community has created remakes in Unreal and LittleBigPlanet, and we've watched (and participated in) the rise of an active Overblood/Replay fan group on Facebook. Now, it's time for us to play through Overblood 2.
The circumstances around this sequel are even more odd than our discovery of the original. Never released in the United States, Overblood 2 was widely reported to contain a game-breaking glitch that makes its completion impossible. Ignoring these warnings, we decided to order a UK version of the game off of eBay and try our luck. Can we finish the game, or will the bug result in our first-ever incomplete Super Replay? Will we see the return of Raz and Pipo? Can it possibly live up to the original? Watch below, and find out along with the Game Informer staff.
(Each episode will feature myself, Tim Turi, and Andrew Reiner, with a rotating cast of GI editors filling the fourth seat)

The Python bit at the end of #20 was great. I was hoping for a best deaths sizzle reel though...thanks for all the Overblood!
Awww Tim. I'm sorry brother. You will get to a good game sometime....BAHAHAHAHA!
Well this is quite some game, considering that it has up to 20 episodes of Super Replay that GI has gone through.
Start the video at 9:04 and your in for a little surprise! Haha, also I can't wait for the next Super Replay, hopefully it will be awesome.
I think I would legitimately poo myself if I saw OverBlood3 was a release title for the PS4.
Awesome job guys, this was a real treat.
the monty python bit at the end was brilliant.
Congradulations guys! I knew it would be around 20 episodes. And you guys should do a super replay of the ps2 game tak and the power of juju, I really liked that game when it came out and I think it would make for a good super replay.
I watched every episode of this and can say I am not ashamed. This was hilarious. Are you guys going to edit together a best moments video for this?
Woo! Only 4 more episodes to go! This has been a long journey lol
I finished Overblood 2!
Well, I'm really late but I gotta say: That entire Super Replay was amazing. The game looked absolutely terrible yet you stuck through it and played the whole thing. I hope you eventually get to play the bonus episode, I just hope that you dont have to play the whole thing over again in order to do it. But it's been great, I cant wait to see what "Project Mako" is (I actually have to catch up the newest replay episodes, especially if you already revealed what Mako is. And I catch up on some Reiner and Phils too. Damn college). I bet it'll be great
i might cry
I watched that whole. damn. thing.
Holy Grail reference for the win!
Are you guys doing a t-shirt design contest for this one?
Chimney sweep crap and now something about racist jokes?
Does that get more subscribers?
I'm re-watching these and they are just as funny... and painful... as the first time. Kudos guys for a job well done. It's been an interesting, and bizarre, journey. Thanks for playing and I can't wait for the next Super Replay to grace my laptop screen.
10 episodes deep so far and who cannot love the Overblood 2?
