Evolve's New Hunter Dual-Wields Pistols And Shoots Force Fields Out Of His Hands
Evolve (our review here) continues to receive new content courtesy of Hunting Season 2, an event stretching from June into March 2016. Two months ago, developer Turtle Rock Studios introduced a new hunter into its 4v1 multiplayer game. Known as Lennox, the hunter wields a plasma lance and autocannon, and players controlling her benefit from her strong defense and high health.
Today developer Turtle Rock Studios teased another hunter coming to Evolve, one who appears to offer a very different playstyle than the sturdy Lennox. Check out the trailer below for more details.
The instant Jack dons his mask, he begins calling himself "The Jackal." He also starts dual-wielding pistols, shooting force field walls out of his hands, and using some kind of laser-scanner.
On August 11, Jack will be available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Other Evolve updates that day include a free arena map and improvements to observer mode. If you are considering purchasing previous DLC hunters, read our piece on whether they are worth buying.
