Evolve’s First ‘Hunting Season 2’ Character Arrives Today Alongside DLC Price Drops

by Mike Futter on Jun 24, 2015 at 06:03 AM

Evolve’s second season kicks off today as 2K and Turtle Rock begin to roll out four new hunters and a new monster. First up, the Assault class gets a new member with a brutal mechsuit that turns the tables on Evolve’s Goliath.

Lennox pieced together her suit, Thunderchild, from scrap found on Shear. She’s got a plasma lance, heavy auto cannon, and the thunder strike. The last of these is a rocket-powered aerial punch that is akin to Goliath’s leap smash.

With Hunting Season 2 ($24.99) comes price reductions for older content.

  • Individual monsters: $9.99
  • Individual hunters: $4.99
  • Hunting Season 1 pass: $14.99 (now also includes an arctic skin for each hunter, including for existing owners)

Those that have the Evolve PC Monster Race edition will get the season two content as part of that package. The remainder of Hunting Season 2 will be rolled out before the end of Take-Two’s fiscal year on March 31, 2016. For more on Evolve, check out our review.
