MomoCon Organizers List Finalists For Its First Indie Game Awards
MomoCon is an annual celebration of animation, comics, and games. This year, the Atlanta-based show is paying tribute to indie-game developers, with its first-ever Indie Game Awards. They've narrowed the field down from more than 120 entries to what they considered the top 20, and they'll all be playable at the show.
You can see the list of selections below, as well as links to each game's official site. Each developer is vying for one of the five top prizes. Winners will get $1,000, exhibit space and a dedicated panel at MomoCon 2016, a trophy, and a writeup in the show's newsletter.

Our Take
If you're wondering, "What the heck is MomoCon?" you're not alone. It's been around for 11 years now, starting as a campus event at Georgia Tech with 700 people to a show that attracted more than 15,000 attendees last year. It's cool to see indie developers are becoming a bigger part of MomoCon, especially when they're behind these top-tier games.
